Security concerns cause doctors to leave hospital, quake victims


Earthquake victims, writhing in pain and grasping at life, watched doctors and nurses walk away from a field hospital Friday night after a Belgian medical team evacuated the area, saying it was concerned about security.
The decision left CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Sanjay Gupta as the only doctor at the hospital to get the patients through the night.
CNN initially reported, based on conversations with some of the doctors, that the United Nations ordered the Belgian First Aid and Support Team to evacuate. However, Belgian Chief Coordinator Geert Gijs, a doctor who was at the hospital with 60 Belgian medical personnel, said it was his decision to pull the team out for the night. Gijs said he requested U.N. security personnel to staff the hospital overnight, but was told that peacekeepers would only be able to evacuate the team.

Green Street is a non-profit group that hopes to connect with high school students to teach the importance of recycling, to decrease the habits of littering and pollution, eco fashion, and entrepreneurship! I've connected with some pretty cool people who has the same interest and ability to help bring this to past, we know that this could make a big impact. Im STOKED!!! =)

HEY, WE HAVEN'T BLOGGED IN A WHILE OR GIVEN ANY UPDATES, AND WE ARE REALLY SORRY! HOWEVER, THE FASHION SHOW WAS GREAT, IT WAS A LOOONNNGG WEEK BUT IT ALL CAME TOGETHER WELL. OUR MODELS WERE ALL FAB AND THE BARBIE THEMED FINALE TOOK THE SHOW OVER THE TOP! WE WILL BE POSTING OUR T-SHIRT DESIGNS ON HERE WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS, WHILE WE WAIT FOR OUR WEBSITE TO BE COMPLETED. WE LOVE YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING US AND WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAIT!

So Tryce and I are up and running around this morning getting things together for the photo shoot. So far things are going pretty smooth. We found out that we needed flood lights for the night shoot so we went to Taylor rental and found some for only $15!!! YES! Also while at Taylor rental we stopped to say our prayer for the day. We gotta make sure to always put God first!!! He showed us yesterday that He is the one running the show. Without Him none of this would be possible. So, we also went to the beauty supply store to pick up some hair so that Tryce can give me my long locks but when we got to Tryce's house we realized that the hair was bulk hair and not on a track, lol, super funny cuz Tryce very calmy says "OMG, this is bulk hair." So we leave to go back to the beautfy supply store and I guess Tryce got kinda upset as we were leaving cuz she ZOOOOMED out of the driveway super fast!!!! We cracked up for like 10 minutes!!!!

All in all the day started off great!!! We are excited to get throught the day and take our fabulous photos!!!!

OH MY GOSH PEOPLE, SO IT'S 2:16a.m FRIDAY, OCTOBER 16,2009 and I AM WOKE FREAKING OUT!! I JUST REALIZED THAT OUR PHOTOSHOOT IS MONDAY!!!!!!!!! WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY NO TIME TO HORSE AROUND! IT'S STRICTLY DOWN TO THE WIRE. THANK GOD MY NEW FRIEND JOSH WAS ABLE TO REPLACE KYLE FOR THE SHOOT LAST MINUTE! OMG MY MIND IS RUNNING RAPID, IM GONNA WORK ON OUTFITS FOR THE SHOOT AND PRAY TO GOD THAT THINGS ARE PERFECT. WE ONLY GET ONE SHOT TO SELL THE WORLD OUR VISION, OUR MOVEMENT, & OUR LUXURY!! WE WANT TO MAKE IT PERFECT...

LOL SO WE DECIDED TO JUST USE THE SYNONYMS OF POSH & RITZY, AND WE RAN ACROSS THE WORD SWANKY, WHICH MEANS STYLISH, POSH, RITZY, AND SWAG! DID YOU HEAR THAT... SWAG!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO NOW WE CAN REMOVE THE WORD SWAG OUT OF EVERYBODYS VOCAB AND REPLACE IT WITH SWANKY, WHICH IN ALL ACTUALITY IT MEANS POSH & RITZY!!! WE ARE GENIUS!!!!!!!!!

I'm so excited to be going home next week! It is so hard working remotely from Phoenix. Tryce and I have sooooo much work to do, but we are amped to get together and finalize some things before the fashion show in December. When I come home we are going to do our first photo shoot so we will have pics of us up very soon!!!
